Kiddo? I'm almost 20, which isn't much younger then Azzer and I do believe I am older then RPG if he has today off for Casmir Plaski. o.O But ya I'm keeping out of trouble.

lawlz Unless you have graduated from college already I wouldn't talk. If you are in high school or below you are in for a rude awakening when you hit college. High school does not prepare you for college.

Yes, I'm in high school. Illinois colleges (I say Illinois because Polaski day is a state holiday; other states couldn't care less) probably don't give students the day off for it, but high schools and middle schools do. I'm not in middle school because I'm driving, which means I'm at least 15. BTW, I am 16.

I probably could've said that in 2 sentences, but I feel like dragging out my sentences today.

Yeah, that's what I keep hearing about the high school-college transition. This is part of why my dad is always bringing up community college for a couple years then transferring into a regular university. I wonder how different technical schools (ITT, DeVri, etc) are from a traditional college in that respect.

Hehe I'm in Illinois too.

So see, RPG is younger then me by 3 years. Almost 4 depending on his birthdate.

If you do community college it is much easier transition from High School to the Community college, but still is a jump depending on what univeristy you go too.

School will never be done for me monty. I am gonna be a teacher so ya.

I lived in Illinois when I was in high school and never got the day off

then again it was a loooooonngggg time ago....

(and I think my high school just didnt let us have holidays--not a city school if ya'know what I mean).

yes my high school suucked big time, we had a lousy football team (we scored our first touch down my senior year---against a team whose school had just opened that year), our band members had so much problems playing sitting down we never got the marching band up and walking (and playing)...much to the disgust of our band director (who by chance married a kid from the class a year older than mine---). They even changed our easter holiday so that spring break and it were the same (no extra time off).

hated every minute of it---and never will go to a reunion (though they keep sending me stuff, and want me to send them money---hoboy!! the world will end long before THAT will happen!).

so sorry got me on that tangent......
